Robert Antoine Chammaa, born in Achrafieh, a district in Beirut – Lebanon, in 1964. At the age of 17, started his music career as a singer, composer and writer. His first album was Btetzakarini, with 4 songs recorded In Toni Farah Studio, Achrafieh. By that time everything was recorded on LP record, it was his first birth of Joy sharing his success with Toni Farah (Arrangement and Keyboard), Toni Kfoury (Drummer) and Setrak (Percussion and Tablah) followed by his second album Inti Bi Albi in 1985 and Salam Salamtik in 1987. In 2000, he accomplished a library of 70 tracks written, composed and performed by himself along with the association of his band members.
In 2014, this year was a career diversion for Robert. His Faith and Love for our lord Jesus Christ and watching his father performing in churches, he decided to make his first religious album entitled The Voice of Heaven - Sawt Al Sama with 6 Hymns in collaboration with the Choir, Simon Obeid, Rona Al Nahhas and Jessy Jleilaty.
In 2018, he launched his second religious album Al Malek after 2 years of preparations, for him this was his second birth of Joy. A 17 hymns made with full dedication and passion, a work of art as quoted by many.
During his career, Robert had the chance to compose many generics for TV, Radios and multinational companies.
In 1986, Robert was honored with best album in Arab world for INTI BI ALBI chosen by the British Radio in London.
In 1995, NATURGEL / best jingle in Lebanon organized by VDL - VOICE OF LEBANON & the syndicate of advertising companies in Lebanon.
In 1999, CAFÉ LTAYFE / best jingle in Lebanon, organized by VDL & the syndicate of advertising companies in Lebanon.
In 2000, Arak Kouroum de Kefraya / best jingle in Lebanon, organized by VDL & the syndicate of advertising companies in Lebanon.
In addition, special Trophy from Permanent Peace Movement, presented by the president and executive director Mr. Fadi Abi Allam. And many other prizes obtained from different Lebanese clubs & associations.
